| Gene Quantification Platform |
The CGQ gene quantification platform facilitates multidisciplinary research in the field of genomics. The platform is equipped with the latest quantitative PCR (qPCR) technology. We use the ABI7900 and ABI7500 Sequence Detection System developed by Applied Biosystems for detection and quantitation of PCR products. These systems detect and quantitate nucleic acid sequences with high sensitivity, accuracy and reproducibility. Key applications include gene expression quantitation and the detection of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs).
-High Throughput
The 384-well plate capability make the ABI7900 system ideally suited to meet the high-throughput requirements of today's researchers.
-Flexibility
Continuous wavelength detection from 500-660 nm allows the use of multiple chemistry detection, including TAQMAN® , Amplifluor and SYBR® Green. Applications include real-time PCR (relative or absolute quantification) and SNP. The ABI7900 and ABI7500 systems are versatile research instruments that can accommodate any real-time PCR need.

Requirements:
You must provide target(s) sequence or NCBI accession(s) number(s) with notes if you wish to study a specific region, exon-exon boundaries, etc. Moreover you must provide DNA from plasmid, specific oligonucleotide covering the region of interest, amplicon or cDNA containing high level of the target sequence you want to quantify: positive control.
